Modular Training Programme

OUTLINE:

This is the signature Ancestral Constellations Practitioner Training Programme. It consists of 2 modules, each with three weekends focused on the generational Lives of BIPOC/Diaspora Communities.

It grounds participants in the principles and practice of Systemic and Family Constellations, drawing closely on an integration of both Western therapeutic and Indigenous ancestral family traditions.

The intention is to provide a pathway for people from diverse backgrounds to learn about transgenerational family work. Our vision is fill a gap in learning about indigenous and ancestral perspectives on therapeutic practice.

Family Constellations is an old ritual practiced in Africa” – Malidoma Some

COURSE OVERVIEW: 2 Modules: In-Person

The in-person modules take place over six weekend workshops from September 2026-April 2027. In this training there is the added bonus of a 3 day Learning Immersion Retreat at Florence House in East Sussex on the last April weekend.

The training has been developed for participants who already have a field of practice that they can integrate their learning into. Both personal openness to learning about your family lineage and professional interest in the constellations approach will be required.

MODULAR PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

MODULE 1:

Introduction To Systemic Constellations – Principles & Practice

This is a 6 day in-person module exploring the principles and practice of Ancestral Constellations. The course draws on the systemic practice of family constellations but explicitly explores the ancestral African perspective, the ‘roots’ of constellations practice.

MODULE 2:

Constellations as a Diaspora Practice –  Experiential Approach

This is an in-personal module focused on experiential learning and takes place over two weekends in February and March plus a 3 day Learning immersion in April 2027.

We will explore how Ancestral Constellations can be used as a holistic approach to support Diaspora family life. We will delve deeper into the Ancestral Constellation process using an experiential practice model.

WHO THE TRAINING IS FOR

The course is for people from diverse communities of colour who are interested in an indigenous and ancestral perspective on transgenerational family work.

It can also be viewed as a step or continuing journey on the ancestral path, one that can lead to family research and a greater connection to older cultural and wisdom traditions.

The practice element of the course will focus on family dynamics exploring the principles of constellations work from both a Western psycho-social and ancestral perspective.

This programme will suit you if you are on a journey of personal and family healing And/or participants who already have a field of practice and want to build additional skills and knowledge.

You will need to find a way to adapt the process to fit your practice. It can also be a useful approach if you……….

  • Work with multi-identity families and communities and are looking for a new perspective
  • Want to integrate the Ancestral Constellations approach into your individual practice
  • Want to learn more about African ancestral approaches to transgenerational healing

WHAT DELEGATES HAVE SAID ABOUT ANCESTRAL CONSTELLATION WORKSHOPS

These are issues in common to many communities. The workshops are essential to reveal and transform what has kept us back for generations. Witnessing others transform is a humbling and inspirational process.

I came here hoping for a healing I’ve sought from other therapeutic practices, I found it here.

This was such a powerful, healing experience. I am so grateful to have received a constellation and honoured to take part in others.

This workshop is a must for anyone seeking to understand their family set-up and dynamics from an ancestral perspective. You will be transformed and held safely, it is highly recommended.
